Email Marketing Executive  @  EMAP   /  Oct 2018 – Oct 2020

EMAP is a B2B content, subscription & networking business which has recently merged and become a subsidiary of Metropolis Group Holdings Limited (see below).

My duties, tasks and achievements included:

• I built very strong and positive relationships with various types of stakeholders.

• Managing a large amount of 40+ company brands.

• Managed and executed a high level of email campaign sends per brand.

• Performed client mailing list and data clean-up.

• Was/am very proficient at using third party email sending/ESP systems, as well as CMS’s (e.g, WordPress).

• Generated feedback reports, email fixes/improvements and performance advice for clients.

My role:
As an Email Marketing Executive I was responsible for creating email campaigns, developing and building the HTML email templates, monitoring email quality, testing templates and emails to ensure they are optimised for different email clients and devices and other related tasks detailed above.

My duties, tasks and achievements included the same as the above.

Engineering simulation software reseller, consultancy and training provider.

My duties, tasks and achievements included:

• Booked and created purchase orders for 30+ engineering print publications, including Professional Engineering (PE) magazine, New Civil Engineer and many more.

• Created CYMK print artwork for 1/4 page and 1/2 page adverts and got them printed and published in the magazines.

• Created online MPU’s, skyscraper and banner adverts for online the company online profile spaces, including online directory listings, the company website and email newsletters.

• Managed and updated both a HTML and WordPress company website, including web forms, landing pages, training courses and dates, as well as global domain name management.

• Setup company webinars using the GoToWebinar service and online training courses with follow-up email feedback surveys using Mailchimp.

• Maintained almost all in-house physical company IT hardware infrastructure and issues, eg, repairing and/or replacing failed components, rebuilding RAID arrays etc.

Back in 2005 after working in retail for sometime I decided to, via a private learning provider (Computeach), pay for and train for 3 years studying and learning web design, web development and website e-commerce. I have also passed Three out of four of the Google Adwords exams with only the Google Video Advertising to do.I have also passed the Google Analytics Digital Fundamentals exam as well as the Google Analytics Platform Principles. I am now studying for the Google Analytics Mobile Exam and the Google Analytics Individual Qualification (IQ).
